Karen Stromberg Woven Inspirations
Karen Stromberg is an imaginative fiber artist who creates handwoven art. Karen's fiber art focuses on illuminating the vibrancy of nature while probing balance and imbalance, and the interactions of color and texture. Each handwoven piece is named to reflect the source of inspiration. Karen is inspired by works of fine art, and by photographs. Her muses are Arizona sunsets, the movement of the ocean's waves and the textures of open space. Karen's handwoven fiber art is both functional and deliberate in its creation. Her fiber art can warm the heart and inspire the senses. Karen is accomplished in using traditional practices as well as innovative design to feature open spaces, textures and color in her fiber art. "Woven Inspirations" website In a new twist, at this show Karen is introducing pieces she has created in collaboration with designer, quilter and creator of fine hand-sewn garments. These innovative collaborative works include garment and wall art pieces.

Tracy Penwell Dressed Up Cat "Fashion Re-Fashioned" Handbags In this, my 7th year as a handbag art designer, I am delighted to collaborate with my two wonderful friends on this show of our works. Each of my one-of-a-kindpieces is created entirely from vintage/found objectsPristine vintage bags are my canvas; antique house wares, discarded feather boas, vintage costume jewelry and broken belt buckles.
My collectors tell me they adore carrying my bags for the conversations that start with strangers and the sheer fun of something completely unique.
A group of my latest, the "A-gate You, Babe" collection will be introduced at the show. (Shown "Asian Twilight"). Website for Tracy's Dressed Up Cat "Fashion Re-fashioned" Handbags
