As Georgia O’Keeffe once said, “I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way—things I had no words for.”
The one of a kind jewelry created by Patricia Tyser Carberry is designed to compliment the individual personalities and spirit of women. Inspired by striking color palettes, unique textures and a discerning taste for high quality materials, Patricia’s intuitive ability to create fresh and innovative, fashion-forward designs enable jewelry lovers everywhere to embrace and enhance their beauty with their own personal style — expressing who they are with elegant color and sophisticated, contemporary shapes.
She began working in glass creating custom, one-of-a-kind and limited edition stained glass windows for commercial and residential establishments. After attending a workshop on fused glass, she became intrigued by working with glass in its molten state, which led to her interest in beadmaking. Since then Patricia has honed her skills as a jewelry designer.
“Working with hot glass is very direct and immediate—the ever changing rainbow of color and light while working with dichroic, metals, powders, as well as the glass, continues to fascinate me.”
The jewelry is created with the highest attention to detail utilizing other natural materials such as lava, freshwater pearls and stone. She enjoys using unusual Russian minerals, Malachite, Ammonite, Amethyst and Pyrite. And she also likes to incorporate intriguing details such as Chinese good luck coins and Hill Tribe silver from Thailand.
Patricia currently resides in Prescott, Arizona with her husband Frank, and their loyal four-legged sidekicks: their dog Shane, and cat, Jack.
